Here I am in Luxembourg City in March 1997 with the rest of the family. We're standing next to the Grand Duchess Charlotte statue in Place Clairefontaine. This was my fifth trip to Luxembourg, the others being in 1972, 1990, 1993, and 1995, and I've been back three times since in 1998 and 2000 (twice!). And I'll probably be back again when the frequent-flier account fills up again! Luxembourg is a fascinating country, particularly if you're interested in medieval castles, western European history, and spectacular scenery as I am.
